The grid lines are light grey

I ordered this despite all the warnings about the too dark lines - and was rewarded !I ordered & rec'd in Mar 2016 - the lines are light grey, not at all dark - I use an automatic pencil and I can see my markings just fine.The square shape is great - overall, a great little notebook. I only wish the backboard was more stiff.

The paper is smooth and easy to write on

May not be as comfortable to use as other notebook brands due to its size and weight
