My daughter is 12 years old, 5ft 3in, about 79lbs so tall and skinny. I bought an L for them thinking they were baggy based on the size chart. They fit her perfectly and she says they are comfortable. They even passed the transparency test! I will note that they are not as tall as in the picture and are short on her (about 2 inches above her ankles). Overall we are happy with the purchase and will be buying another pair.
