The Raveneye retails for around $260 (at the time of this review), making the Pro combo a more than reasonable price as it also comes with lots of cables, phone holder, focus motor and accessories. The RS2 alone is $850 and $999 with the combo. You'll go crazy buying this without the combo as you're getting a lot for the extra $150. Everything about it speaks of attention to detail. The interface is a great asset, the shortcuts, the little features that make the stabilizer so practical and easy to use. The focus ring and shutter button work well enough and you can customize what you want to control with them. The half-press and hold capture button works like the half-press shutter button on your camera, allowing you to select focus when using the camera's autofocus. It's quick and easy to stabilize before using or changing lenses, all parts slide in with a gentle application of force. It manages to stabilize and works well with the 135mm 1.8 GM. I know! It was designed to work up to 100mm but I wanted to test it with this lens which I think is one of the best lenses out there. He struggled a little with that focus lens, but it wasn't useless. It's amazing with other focal length lenses like the 20mm and 50mm. In any case, the 135mm camera and lens weigh around 4 pounds with that, plus the focus motor, raven eye and cable add a bit more.
