I bought this cable to use with my Xbox A40s on my PC because the standard cable wasn't long enough. It's a good length to plug a headset into a computer, it has a nice braided cord and I bought one that has a mute function. Note: You must hold down the mute button for it to work and release it when you're done. My friends say they hear a faint noise when I press the button so they know when I turn off the mic. I connected this cable to the "MillSO Computer Headset Splitter" so I can plug it into the pink and green headphone jacks on the front of my PC. Works great and now my Astro A40 headset does double duty on my Xbox and PC.
