We love this decoration. We paid about $13 for it which was a lot. It took a few minutes to figure out how to put the two pieces together, but once we've done it it's really easy to put together. The lights on the outside of the kennel are decorative and the "wiring" is actually steel wire. I wasn't expecting that, but to be honest I'm not sure if it really spoils the look. We may or may not thread a few of our own lights along the steel wire and see how it looks. When we received it we hung it in our entryway and will probably leave it there all year round just for fun.
