We bought several variations of these airtight food storage containers to organize our kitchen and prevent mice and insects from entering our pantry and being attracted become closets. Whether you live in the city, in the country, near the beach or lake, or even in the desert (where we live), rodents and insects can invade your home and invade your kitchen and dining room. If they find food to feed on while trying to keep warm, they will stay and multiply, earning you hundreds of dollars in destruction. These food storage containers are highly airtight and lock in the smells of everything from sugar, grains, nuts, seeds and dried fruit to pasta, cookies, crackers, chocolate, raisins and even leftovers. These canisters are also airtight (we tested everything to make sure there are no leaks!)
