Not charging or working at all 13 months after purchase.

Bought this speaker because someone recommended it to me. The speaker sat on my desk, got used to it once a day and never left the charger. So 13 months have passed (1 month after the end of the warranty period) and the speaker is no longer charging. When plugged in, the light flashes as if charging, but the battery continues to discharge and is now completely dead. I tried all online troubleshooters like factory reset/delivery mode/upgrade and downgrade software and nothing worked. Called Bose as a last resort hoping they could help me. They deny the warranty on the speaker, even though it is in perfect condition and has hardly been used. The repair at Bose cost me almost as much as buying a new one. A full-fledged trash speaker cannot last more than a year with little use. I will definitely not buy another Bose product after this experience and also after my experience with customer support. Very disappointing.
