Not that soft - but damn, my face is airbrushed!

So first things first - if you have a sensitive face (e.g. you can't use exfoliating cleansers) I would say no to this brush. Because the bristles are very densely packed, the brush feels rough on the face. However, as they say, the effect it gives your face is as damn airbrushed as it gets. After using it every day for a week, I found that it works with both very liquid and thick foundations. The best way to use this is to apply the foundation all over your face and work in small strokes until it is evenly distributed all over your face. Then use small buffing motions - no need to press hard on the face with a brush. It really blends foundation into your face! And I use less foundation because the brush is so dense it doesn't soak up the foundation like a sponge or kabuki brush. The brush handle is very comfortable and light, which is nice. and makes the brush quite luxurious. I've tried brushes from Elf, Real Techniques, Bare Minerals, NYX, and Morphe. This definitely takes over when it comes to applying foundation. I still like to use the sponge to apply the concealer and generally dab on the face after applying the concealer. Be sure to try it!
