I had never heard of skinks until they started invading my home, squeezing under my front door and I started researching what these things were. Yuk. Apparently they look like the lizards that live in my area. I also started getting snakes in the garden. Luckily one of them sneaked in while the pest repeller was at my house! He advised me to place mothballs around the house. I've been buying these moth screens for over two years now and put a hanger with a cake between my front door and my storm door and I've had 100% success keeping critters out. bugs too. Cakes don't dry out as quickly as balls. I prefer regular flavored ones because they're smellier, but I can't find them anymore and can't find refills.
