Review on Premium Natural Rubber Rain Boots With Matte Finish For Toddlers And Kids By Lone Cone Elementary Collection by Toya Robinson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

NOT for Daily Wear!

I give 3 stars because if all you want are puddle jumpers for a rainy day here and there, these are probably fine. HOWEVER, we live on a farm and these are daily boots for an 18 month old (size 5) and a 3 year old (size 10). It has only been 4 months. The size 5 held up better on the inside but cracked on the outside at the ankle (see picture). The size 10 is mostly trashed now. The inside lining started peeling away from the boot after 3 weeks, we super glued it back to the side but it is coming apart again (see picture). The insoles are so thin my 3 year old wore holes in them in just 2 weeks, so we had to buy insoles to put in them. Under the insoles there is a bulky seam right down the middle of the boot, so I can’t imagine them being that comfortable with such a thin insole. The front of the boot, the toe, is so worn down it is peeling of in chunks now (see picture). One of the handles broke off of the size 5 after 3 months. …. Like I said it has only been 4 months since purchasing, they really have been worn basically everyday since then. These are definitely NOT daily wear boots.I recommend Walmart’s *chain-link sole chore boots* (online only), they hold up much better for daily wear. They do have a hard sole though, so you might want to buy insoles if you care about your kids’ feet.

Pros
  • Protects against mud and dirt
Cons
  • The boots may not be available in retail stores for easy try-on
