Review on Toyo Observe G3-Ice 285/60 R18 120T winter by Dorota Przybylska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

This one is softer, up to -5 is very soft, it is ideal in snow and ice, it digs so that sometimes the feeling of driving an SUV is not suitable for aggressive and fast driving, it floats in corners, it whistles with intensive braking, as well as in sharp turns (this was not the case at the Michelin). I bought a 3l for Maxima on the mechanics because I drive fast and aggressively. Before that, the winter Michelin was. In overall, I am really pleased, as the hum that many people talk about has faded after traveling 1500 kilometers. It stops just as it should on a crust of ice, and it digs like a tank through any snow. There is nothing better for this money, including affordable models of big names that were created in 2022 and hiss that were semi-handcrafted. I got 2750 dollars per piece. A fair price considering the quality.

Pros
  • Very tenacious rubber, soft, just burrows into the snow on the way, chews into the ice, and excellent acceleration and braking performance on snow and ice. Completely Japanese in its construction. The factory studding, which is of utmost significance. Deep tread.
Cons
  • Whining in the corners and under severe braking, a soft sidewall, and a noisy ride during the first 1000–1500 kilometers driven before becoming less noisy overall. Not recommended for a sporty driving style.
