I bought this car roof bag a month ago. At that time, my husband and I were planning a long trip from Arkansas to California, which is about 1,800 miles. To be honest I was a little worried because some of the reviews mentioned it wouldn't last long trips and might wear out during the trip but I decided to give it a try based on the size and price. Before we drove off, we checked the bag carefully for sharp edges and tied it tightly to the car roof to keep it in place. I was so concerned for the first 200 miles that I stopped every 50 miles to see if everything was ok. It was tight and in good condition every time I checked. I soon forgot and just enjoyed my trip and we did it in 3 days. We got caught in a thunderstorm on the way, the bag kept water out and kept our stuff dry. I'm glad I made the purchase. Highly recommended.
