Used for wall mounted entertainment center. The entire system on the wall weighs about 120 pounds. I bought various drywall anchors; The ones supplied are probably strong enough, but I just wanted some extra reinforcement! They are flat, easy to install and very durable. 30 inches is great if you don't know the distance between the spikes. My studs are 16 inches on center so I hooked two studs with this bracket and filled the space between the studs with drywall anchors. I doubt this thing will ever come off the wall. the bottom corners of my wall mounted entertainment system.
