Allergic reaction? on Body Jewelry

Overall the taps and tunnels are good. I had to deduct a star because I was allergic to orings? (Yes I cleaned and disinfected everything before use) I thought it might be metal but my ears were only irritated at the back where the rubber touched my ears. I'd never had a reaction to a sensor before, so it was weird. I was wearing rings from another couple so I hope the redness and bumps go away. Edit: Well, after 2 days of changing the ring my ears became more irritated, swollen and started to get a little crusted. I hope to return them for a refund.
