If you've tried astrophotography before, you know how difficult it can be with a viewfinder. The tripod is set low for stability while kneeling and trying to look at the sky. That makes it a lot easier. I've seen reviews of similar products complaining about the size. This is a one size fits all option. Of course you'll have to adjust the focus, it's not designed for a specific camera. But it literally took me less than 1 minute to focus. Step one focus camera, step 2 focus viewfinder, done! As long as you don't focus on the viewfinder, it should be set. This is my only complaint. I wish there was a way to lock the focus so it always stays set. From now on you have to install it every time you use it. This also takes less than a minute. I use Canon cameras and this works great on my T3I and should work on any Canon T series. There is a second Canon adapter for D series bodies which I no longer have so I can't say whether it works or not. However, I can say that this does not fit Canon R series bodies.
