This review is from the first days of ownership. The group arrived late Monday evening. I opened it yesterday and looked at the instructions. I install the app on my phone and on my iPad. I plugged the device into my machine's port according to the instructions and did whatever it took to activate it with the app. I've been driving around the area for almost half an hour, but the device failed to pick up the GPS signal. I waited a few hours, then drove around town for an hour and shopped. GPS never connected. My app says my car is in Piccadilly Circus, UK. I'm in Texas, USA. I contacted support and they told me it could take two days for the GPS to connect. I've used this type of device before, so I know what I'm doing. I had a Brickhouse block for a couple of years and then an automatic block. I liked my car lock and how it worked, but the company is ending the service on May 28, 2020 due to the coronavirus outage. I will be covering this CarLock GPS device soon and hopefully checking my rating stars. If not, I'll send it back. At the moment it is useless as a stone. UPDATE: It's been two days and the device still couldn't get a GPS signal. I had other people make sure it was attached properly just in case that was the problem. I went through the return process with Revain and contacted CarLock who said I would not be charged and apologized that the device was not working. Now I have to start the research process again to find it.
