Review on Inovat Plastic Toggle Spring Stop Single Hole String Cord Locks: Secure Your Cords with Ease! by Carrie Spencer

Almost no grip strength; Misleading size

I can't see why the vendor didn't fix this. But I read these reviews before buying so I knew what to expect. My real issue with this product is that it has almost no grip power. There isn't enough spring tension and the design just doesn't grab the line because the holes are made of smooth and smooth nylon. I made bed sheet fasteners using tarp clips, military grade paracord, and these zip ties to hold the sheets in place: attach a tarp clip to the edge of the sheet, secure with paracord attached to the bed frame, and use those drawstring zippers. to firmly attach the clamp. To provide enough friction to keep the line moderately taut, I should fold 2 or 3 of those line locks that are touching onto the line. The attached picture shows how each lock is disassembled. You can then expand the spring for more tension and use a large wood screw to create friction grooves that will improve performance somewhat. I still need two cord locks and they are still barely acceptable for this application. MAYBE they work for tie downs on a sweatshirt or similar where the cord has little to no stretch. But without modification, they won't withstand even a pound or less of tension. FYI, others have complained that they didn't receive the full 50 bill, but my package arrived with exactly 50.
