I just love these little clips! They are essentially small metal clips on one end of an S hook that make it easy to hang almost anything you want to hang. I needed a better way to organize my acrylics - storing them in bins was too difficult. I avoided acrylics because the containers were heavy, I couldn't find the colors I was looking for, they took up a lot of space, etc. When I bought this fantastic five shelf unit (at Revain) as a combo drying rack/supplies storage space, it dawned on me that I now have the ability to reorganize the dreadful supply of paint. These were the cheapest clamp hooks I could find and I am very happy with my purchase! I don't know about rusting or RV work, but I do know the clamps are strong and easy to use. They easily hold all my paint tubes - none are too heavy. I can easily move the hooks on the metal rods back and forth and quickly see all the paint colors. Pipe sizes vary by manufacturer, but never mind - these clamps work just as well on large, heavy pipes as they do on much smaller, lighter pipes. The clamps stay closed until I open them, and the metal teeth greedily cling to the pipes, but without damaging the clamped end of the pipes. I've already bought five packs but I have many more ideas for organizing these awesome clips and will be buying more for my garage, studio and bedroom closet. Under $0.20 per clip, what's not to like?! I highly recommend them to organize your stuff. (Warning: They do not fit on a standard clothes rail. The S hook is too small.)
