Boots doesn’t take well to new items of any kind. So when I was not able to find the same large scratching hammock, this product was the closest thing. I wasn’t sure if he would use it- which has happened numerous times in the past with new products. However it only took about 24 hours for him to jump up and claim his perch! He’s been lounging there regularly now and scratching away when necessary. It is made very sturdy and is a bit larger than the hammock. So I was afraid it might be too large to fit the area, but it is purr-fect!
