To be honest I was a bit surprised at how good it is. I now want to buy a set with 2 microphones. As you can see from the video, using this microphone has a big impact on the sound quality. The gain seems set a little higher for them as I had to turn my camera's audio level down to 2 to avoid clipping, but I think they sound great at this level. I tested them outside to see how far I can get from the receiver and they seem to work well up to 75 feet as long as there is a clear land line. I only use them in the video recording room, so that's not a problem for me. The receiver/transmitter is quite small and I really like that the transmitter has a built in mic in case you can't get the mic to work. for any reason. The quality here is actually quite good. Another great feature is that the clips made for the transmitter/receiver fit your camera's hot/cold shoe. It's really easy to put everything together with it. Overall I think it's great value for money.
