So I was disappointed with this set. At first it seemed great - a wide range of sizes, BPA-free, a large number of containers, even stacked inside each other. As a test, I used 4 or 5 to store different items in my pantry: sugar, brown rice, jelly beans, pasta. The first thing I noticed was that the tops were out of order; See attached picture. In almost all cases, the rubber seal was uneven and had to be straightened with each removal and replacement. This was the first indication that something was wrong with the airtightness of the container. The second sign was a lot of ants getting into the sugar after leaving this container on the counter overnight. Not only were they attracted to the sugar, indicating they could tell it was there, they could work their way under the seal and penetrate the merchandise. I've since removed food from other containers as they clearly don't close like they should. The last thing I need are ants attracted to our pantry. Wouldn't recommend them for groceries or anything that requires safe filling. Even the small handle at the top of most glasses is loose and feels a bit cheap.
