It arrived at night so very happy with the quick delivery. I ordered this to replace my Red Carpet LED which died after 2.5-3 years (it doesn't light up). It's definitely a larger unit (you won't be tapping your fingers on the sides) and the motion sensor means you can just stick your hand inside to activate. By default, it starts at 110 seconds. I'm not sure why it's so high as the battin only gets 99 seconds. I decided to do my gel manicure the same way using DND Top/Base Coat and Red Carpet Gel Nail Polish - base 45 seconds (1 coat) - 1-3 coats of nail polish 45 seconds each (I have a dark color so needed I 3 thin coats) - Top Coat 90 seconds then 10 seconds Unlike other LED lights my nails are not sticky. I will update the review in 2 weeks to see how long my manicure lasts but first impressions. it is great! I do a lot of DIY projects so I have to keep my nails relatively short to avoid injury. I can only imagine how beautiful long nails look. Maybe it's time to let them grow. The device is very light. It's easy to knock off the table and the cord isn't very long, so handle it with care and keep a small distance from the unit to the outlet.
