Update 4/13/21: I finally have a real Apple MagSafe Puck and it shows 18.6W on my power meter from the same source which is 15W for the phone. And yes, it is noticeably faster! So my negative review of this charger remains: it works but it is not a 15w charger.---------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------ -------- -- ------ I use the wireless charging stand to charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max and it does the job perfectly. However, he is picky about placement; half the time it fails until I rearrange the phone. I wanted something faster. This is my second so-called 15-watt MagSafe charger for under $20 and I'm not impressed. I used a USB-C power meter to measure actual consumption and this puck barely hits 10W. Taking into account the losses in the coil, the phone draws only 7.5-8 watts. This is with and without the case. I used two different USB-C chargers, one of which charges my iPad Pro to full capacity. So the problem is the puck. While it does charge the phone, I'm not happy that it doesn't live up to the overpriced specs. So I'm returning this and buying a real Apple MagSafe washer.
