So far so good. They come with a warning sticker on the lid to not use the microwave for more than 2 minutes. Well I microwaved a chilled dinner and the meat wasn't warm enough so I waited and reheated another minute. Much better with the third minute. I guess I just do the two minute thing, wait a minute and then do another minute to get everything up to temperature. Due to the high edge, it is not very convenient to cut it with a knife and fork (e.g. a piece of steak). So I just cut the meat into pieces before arranging the plates. Dead easy. The lid isn't airtight, but that's not an issue, just so you know. The lid doesn't "snap" like a super snug fit. This allows food to be stacked. The lid fits well, just don't expect it to be very tight, which is nice in a way, so it's pretty easy to take off with no issues. The ventilation works well and serves its purpose. The great thing about a lid is that it keeps the heat inside. So if dinner sits for a few minutes after heating, it will keep it warm until you're ready to eat. If I run into distortion issues in the long run (microwave), I'll let you know.
