The material looks good and is light. The material is water-repellent, but the seams are NOT waterproof. We had a couple of hours of light to moderate rain on the day I got it, after that I checked the bike and it was all wet, after inspecting the seams they weren't waterproof. I've read previous reviews but decided to give it a try, others might have had condensation but no it's a lot more than that. I did a simple test, held a small area under running water and you can feel the Fabric doesn't let water through, and the seams do. If you're buying this to protect your bike from the rain, don't.
