As for improving the performance of the player, it depends on the player. It's not the things that make you good, it's the practice. However, I did notice a HUGE increase in my ability to fire them. I like the ones where the movement bar is lower and the camera movement is higher. The bottom one helps keep the grip so the finger doesn't slip off while running. If it's the upper one, I have a hard time keeping my thumb on it and have to overextend. The top is what you are aiming for. Increasing the altitude gives you a greater range of motion for the stick, making it easier to move your sniper scope in smaller increments. If you need to quickly walk a hairline to get a headshot, you can kick the stick to move it just a little without as much effort or frustration. So basically it allows you to move the target a bit with less effort. This also works for medium range and similar weapons. I also like that the pads themselves are depressed rather than raised, giving my fingertips a nice little indentation to better hold my chopsticks. I really wouldn't recommend anything close by. With this increased range of motion of the stick, it becomes more difficult to keep up with the target at close range. So if you run and shoot, I'd settle for two dropped-only clutch pads rather than these. Note on KontrolFreek: I really wish you would make more of these options. Most of your garments have a double waistband or full waistband. I'd love to see more of this with the camera stick up and the movement stick down, there are only a few of them. Even with the handles down instead of up. Traction is always good on both, but for me the depressed ones offer more comfort and better control. Basically, make more of this same model with different colors/styles for PS and Xbox.
