Decent but not without compromises

After trying several other brands and 2 pairs of them in different designs, here are some thoughts after my first triathlon season: - Back pocket is fantastic. On the Olympic track, before I jumped into the water, I installed a rock bar there and fondly remembered it halfway through the bike. - No fodder of modesty. It's not that I have anything to hide, I just don't want to start a lively discussion every time I want to switch from cycling to the gym. - The biggest downside for me is open suede. I think the idea is that you can put your bike padding in during the transition and rip it out to run. I didn't try to use any extra padding. Suede is enough for me. The problem is that the suede has no seams on the front, which allows the front of the suede to slide independently while cycling. I find this slipping disturbing and annoying. Now I only use these shorts for swim training. In comparison, you can buy a very basic muffler for $10 and skip suede.
