Review on πŸ”Œ Efficient and Versatile Bioluz LED Dimmable UL Listed Compliant Industrial Electrical for Streamlined Operations by Ryan Draper

BR40 LED recessed bulbs in cans

I recently replaced all four Philips halogen bulbs (70w, 1320 lumens) for interior lighting with these Bioluz LEDs (14w, 1250 lumens) for my office . They run on a lot less electricity and produce a lot less heat in the summer, but that's where the benefits end. Although a little under lumens, they put out a harsh glare that I'm not used to, as opposed to the smooth, warm, bright glow of halogens. Sometimes I prefer to dim them to about 25% of maximum, but these lights flicker the more they're dimmed, which is quite distracting when working with paper and computers. Also, one bulb is significantly brighter than the other three, which is due to the bulb itself and not the socket. Eventually I turned on the light switch and all four bulbs blinked very weakly and didn't respond to the dimmer. I turned it off and waited a few seconds before turning it back on, then it worked. This problem hasn't reappeared, but that was only two days ago. I'm not sure how they hold up over time but given the shaky performance I have no plans to buy more for the rest of the house - there are better brands like Cree and Feit which I'll look at next . Additional comments after using them for a few months - they have held up well but 3 times out of 10 when I press the switch all four lights flicker dimly. I have to turn the switch off and then turn it back on for the light to come on fully. It's a little annoying, but I can live with that. Also, one of the four lights is noticeably dimmer than the other three.
