per year and switched to a fast charger designed mainly for cell phones because when the tablet chargers failed the cell phone chargers I used in between worked fine. This has worked well so far, but a few others have also worked and just stopped charging or charged slowly after 90 days, 6 months or a year of use. I've had it for over two months now, so it's still early. I leave my tablets plugged into chargers most of the time; my old kindle fire from c. 2012 is completely dead and therefore cannot be used without a charger. I use it with my new 2020 Kindle Fire whose battery drains quickly (up to 50% in 2-3 hours). So my use can be more intense than others.
