Well after spending a whole day putting this fire station together I am delighted with the results. But assembly would be a lot easier if the instructions showed where the color coated screws are. It was necessary to twist 34 parts. There were black, green, red and blue screws that weren't even marked on the clear blister card with all the screws and the charts didn't tell you which colors to use. There were over 70 screws, 4 door handles and 2 sets of latches. It wasn't until I was getting ready for the first page that I noticed the different colors and had to start over. I don't know how it took a customer just 2 hours while it took me 45 minutes to pull everything out of the box, sort by number and rack my brains to finally figure out that "Part #8" the door was. and I finally found in the narrow box that the furniture came in! Being a punishment eater, I didn't stop there and called my son-in-law to finish the meeting. No, my pride wouldn't let me, so I watched all 3 Avengers movies and finally put the last screw back on. The accessories are fantastic! Everything is made of durable lacquered wooden parts. The helicopter is made of wood and plastic, which seems to be quite durable. The police car is made from painted wooden parts and glued together to form a police motorcycle. The dog and the two figures bend down to drive their vehicles. Wheels work on both. I'm thankful that all the furniture was packed because if it wasn't I'd throw in the towel, run to the grocery store, buy a box of mint chocolate ice cream and call my brother-in-law! But despite all the effort I've put into putting this together, I can't wait for my great granddaughter to come over to my house after her birthday party so WE can play with her. She has 3 other small dollhouses. So we're going to found a city. And that's why I gave it "5 stars". If he is well cared for, her daughter can also play with him. Plus, it costs less than $80.
