At the age of 74 my hearing has deteriorated to the point where it is difficult to watch TV without a headset. Most headsets only have a 6 foot cord, making it impossible to sit 8-10 feet from the TV. This heavy-duty 6-foot stereo extension gives you an extra 6 feet of TV screen clearance, enough for most living rooms and bedrooms. The stereo 1/8" extension jack provides a very firm connection to the headset jack, making accidental disconnection unlikely, and the braided extension is very durable. The extension cord is a little tight, but not out of the question. The price difference is pretty good. This is a great product at a great price.
