Review on Versatile Efficiency: Unleash Your Style with the Victorinox Altmont Rolltop Compact Backpack by Stephen Tharpe

This compact laptop backpack from Victorinox is very well designed. Everything is double stitched, every strap and cord is of high quality. It's smaller than most backpacks, but I had this backpack in mind when Vine offered it for review and I'm glad I took it. Now that I'm retired I work as a consultant and do day trips 2 or 3 times a year which can stretch out to 2 or 3 days before I come back (You have to make sure the client is happy before you can go ) and This laptop holds my tablet/laptop with keyboard and work essentials in many external compartments (everything is zipped and we're talking quality zips here). The main compartment holds my laptop and documents and even a rain cover. There is a padded laptop compartment on the side with a lockable zip should you need padding protection. I just throw it in the main compartment. It's light and comfortable on the back (the main reason I got it). I should mention that this is basically a duffel style bag with a reversible roll top closure that closes securely with buttons and a buckle but allows for wide access when needed. There are also two handles on the front. I especially like that the water bottle holder is toggled on and off. It only enhances the image when you show up in your semi-casual pants and jacket. I've always thought that a water bottle would ruin the lines and ruin the look of those hanging it outside on a trendy designer backpack. I can see where access can be an issue for those who want it within reach, but I'm not one of them. Of course, that's personal vanity and I'm sure many of you will laugh at it. The fact is that the subjects are well thought out. The main compartment is big enough for laptop and co. It won't fall apart anytime soon (all my other backpacks average about a year or so and keep in mind I rarely use them that much anyway). This one looks like I'll live off it for five or ten years. . (True. As if I still did it back then) Overall, I think it's a great design that will last and have multiple uses. I am happy with it and would buy one again in a heartbeat! Five stars is easy
