This is my third rescue case for my third iPhone. They work, even for underwater photos, which I don't take, but my daughter enjoys doing it. I like the waterproof properties in case I drop it in water or get splashed. Don't worry. This makes the phone a lot bulkier than without a case and I wish it was smaller, but that seems necessary for the functions it's designed for. If you have an XR and don't want black or gray, mint green is your only choice. I like the color but it gets dirty easily. I would have preferred some funnier color options, but there are so many iPhones out there now that it's probably difficult to offer a wide range. In general yes, I understand! This takes away the worry of dropping the phone.
