Very good quality for the price but print quality and colors may vary

First of all some reviewers wrote that the material of these cushion covers is burlap. It is not true. Understandably, these reviewers don't know what burlap is. Jute is a coarse cloth woven from jute, hemp, or a similar fiber. These cushions are a blend of cotton and linen (flax) with a finer weave than burlap but still with a textured weave. Second, some reviewers complain that the fabric is too stiff and not soft enough. Before darning these pillowcases, I ran them through the dryer using an anti-static dryer sheet for fabric softener and a damp cloth to create water vapor. This eliminated the creases in the covers due to the way they were packaged and made the fabric a little softer but still with enough density to hold its shape. It's also good to toss an entire covered pillow in the dryer to refresh and smooth out the covers after heavy use. Finally, some reviewers complained of poor print quality and more muted colors than shown in the photos in the Revain listing. The pillows I received had a clear print with vibrant colors. However, a few months ago I ordered a pillowcase in the same fabric, size and design as the turtle pillowcase in this set. In this case the colors were much less vibrant compared to the colors of the boxes in the set I received this time. I think based on that experience and based on that experience and based on a lack of fabric dyeing and printing processes and consistency in quality control for textiles made in Asia. similar variations in other fabrics I have purchased have been made in Asia. My father worked in the fibers division of Allied Chemical in the United States from the 1960's to the 1980's and the fabrics they made didn't have these differences in color and print quality. So I really believe that the textile mass production process and quality control was solved in the United States over 50 years ago, but still needs to be solved in Asia today. Overall the quality of the pillowcases I received this time is very good for the price but due to the lack of a manufacturing process and quality control it might just be a fluke to get a very good quality for these pillowcases.
