Without a doubt the best in-ear headphones ever

Without a doubt the best in-ear headphones ever. And even better. I've tried many headphones since the first iPhone came out in 2007. Traditional in-ear headphones have never worked for me, both because of the poor sound quality and the lack of ability to find the right fit. Have tried Etymotic, B&O, Bose/Senheiser and others over the years but mismatches, poor sound quality but often just cables or other failures forced me to buy new ones. This time, when I bought an iPhone 6 with a very good DAC build, I had the opportunity to improve it a bit. Of course, an important factor for me in choosing the Shure 535 was their solid reputation and the fact that they are modular, including cables for IOS or Android, and plugs for stereo and airplane travel. Now if the cable breaks, you can spend $45 on the cable. The performance is amazing. As noted in many reviews, it's not about the bass, it's about the purity of the sound. On each device, I found that I was playing music at a significantly lower volume than before and with greater clarity across the range. I exercise a lot and use the Bose Sport in-ear headphones, but I can't wait to use the Shure headphones. They are extremely antisocial as the sound immerses you within yourself and outside noise is virtually non-existent with a good fit. The experience was so good that I wanted to shell out another $150 for custom-fitted earbuds, but the compatibility with standard earbuds was phenomenal and for my purposes, there was just no reason to take that extra step. Expectations were high for me to spend so much money on headphones but the reason for this 5 star rating is because they have SO far exceeded my expectations and completely changed my idea of what is possible. Maybe that's too much. There may be better headphones out there, but I doubt there are many in this price range. If you can afford them, buy them, you won't be disappointed.
