Good quality shoes, hold up well when worn. Heel impact is very low due to the great open heel design. However, together with the plastic heel cup, this makes the shoe very inflexible (also because this part is made of plastic) and uncomfortable overall. Because a lot of space is needed to raise the heel and reduce impact, the heel doesn't have much room to sit in the shoe, so only very thin socks can be worn, making the overall fit a bit tight. Overall open heel design to reduce impact but I wouldn't order them again as they are so stiff and inflexible even after many miles.
