Plug does not fit BMPCC4k. Impossible. The inner barrel (which actually goes into the chamber) needs to be connected to the chamber by a circumferential recess about an inch from the tip. The spring-loaded outer housing is intended to release this latch when pulled rearward and away from the chamber. Unfortunately, the outer casing does not retract far enough for the camera to snap into the notch on the inner casing. No matter how hard you push, the lock won't work because the outer barrel prevents the inner barrel from being inserted far enough. In fact, the outer barrel doesn't move far enough to even expose the full width of the cut. Look at the two attached pictures and compare the connector supplied by Blackmagic to this piece of junk. Not only does the notch not snap, the spring in the outer housing pushes the entire connector away from the camera. I can't even let the plug sit freely in the chamber. The outer barrel pushes it out. This stub is absolute garbage. Useless.
