Enhanced Locking DC Cable for Juicebox Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera (BMPCC) 4K and 6K Review

I don't know who's to blame, Juicebox for the cable or Blackmagic for the crappy little port. But whatever it was, it took us a whopping 30 minutes to connect that cable to the camera. Navigating the rubber covers is difficult enough, but it doesn't seem to want to connect even though the notches line up. Plug does not fit BMPCC4k. Impossible. The inner barrel (which actually goes into the chamber) needs to be connected to the chamber by a circumferential recess about an inch from the tip. The spring-loaded outer housing is intended to release this latch when pulled rearward and away from the chamber. Great cable, feels sturdy and works great with bmpcc6k. If you are new to this type of connection, just make sure the 2 pins on the camera line up with the cable. I wish it was a little longer because the coils are really strong but I think that's a plus not a minus.
