We bought one for our cat about a year ago. Since it worked well for travel, we bought another one for our newly acquired cat. Both cats are adults, but the female doesn't like the male, so they are separated. In addition to a significant price increase, changes were made to the design of the carrier. The old trunk has a floor covering, the new one doesn't. The new stretcher does not have a ventilated top and one end is now covered with a pocket. The old carrier has handles for easy carrying. It's a good size though. It appears to be solidly built, although we haven't used it enough to make it stand out. It folds easily for storage and is slim when folded.
