When we first received this toaster, we were thrilled. Very compact stylish design, even toast pattern, openings wide enough to hold a large bagel. Then, for no reason and with very little wear and tear, BAM refused to "go down" one side of the toaster and turn on the heating mechanisms (which makes sense). That was 4 weeks after receipt. Gevi management asks that you contact them first before contacting Amazon, which is what we did. After 3 days and two more emails still no response. Revain finally stepped in after contacting Gevi directly (and apparently not receiving a satisfactory response either - if any) and agreed to send us a new one even though the 30-day return policy had already expired (a week ago) . Thanks to Revain for doing the right thing and shame on Gevi for ignoring us (another stain on Chinese merchandise). We have just received our replacement. Keep for updates. Fingers crossed! Update: I received a replacement that has the same issue...4 slice toaster, only the 2 slice side works. To return. Never buy from this company again. Buyer warning!
