I had a bunch of old albums I wanted to display and found that many of them seemed to be separate. I searched the internet and found a video using this tape to apparently fix it. This works great, you just cut the tape lengthwise, then fold the tape lengthwise so the water-activated adhesive is on the outside, apply water to activate the adhesive, and then insert it into the album cover. I use a metal ruler to pin down the ribbon. down in the seam. Clamp the seam of the album between two metal rulers, and after about 4 hours the seam will be fixed, no need to use cardboard and hot glue, it's much easier and cleaner, and the thickness of the album will not change. Great product for this application.
