Too loud and not loud enough at the same time

The sound quality is terrible. Even at the lowest volume, barely turned on, it was loud enough to shake my eyeball, but I couldn't understand what people were talking about because it was too quiet. If you crank the volume up enough for people to hear, it gets painfully loud. I love the idea of having in ear headphones as they are less prone to falling off so I added a star for the design. Too bad it's rubbish.
