Grounding problem

I think you have a grounding problem. It shouldn't be that hard to get good land. I spent hours getting this thing to work. I connect it to the 7th way on my car. I tried moving the floor to another stud. And grind the jack plate under the star washer. It's still not getting good soil. Removing these bolts is not entirely easy as there is not enough space. I replaced the ground wire with a new 10 gauge wire to make sure it wasn't a problem. Had not. The outlet works when connected directly to the battery. And I get about 14 volts positive to the motor. So a grounding problem. The light comes on but the plug doesn't start (I'm assuming it's not getting enough voltage). Another indicator is a problem with grounding. There should be two wires coming from the motor, positive and ground. That way you won't have any trouble finding good land. When I called the manufacturer they said the trailer needs to be connected to a ground ball. I'm not sure how you're going to run the jack to lower it onto the hitch ball to begin with. So this explanation doesn't work. So you MUST connect the ground wire to the socket (or trailer frame?), whether you use a 7-pin wire or connect directly to the battery. I will try again. I use a sanding wheel to remove the paint from the panel under the plug where the ground wire meets. If not, he returns.
