Now if you plan to do a lot of work on your bike then you need to get a real bike stand that will hold your bike in the air as that is not what you need. We need to keep our bikes upright at home and in the garage so we can easily ride and do simple things with the bike while it's upright. But you can't move western style on a bike or you'll fall over. But the bike stand did what we wanted and it works for us.
