First of all. The product separates audio and video. This audio extractor solved my problem. I might say not fully because I can't get it to work in 5.1 channel. My Setup: Chromecast Ultra, Home Theater and TV The problem I had was that I had to connect my Chromecast directly to my TV and couldn't use my home. Theater for sound output. So this device was what I needed to solve the problem. What I did, as you can see in the picture, I connected my Chromecast to an audio extractor and then to my home theater. It worked, but only when I use 2CH mode in Audio Extractor. I followed the seller's advice and couldn't get it to work in 5.1, but as I said, it allowed me to watch Netflix through my home theater instead of the TV speakers. So yes, I recommend it. 3 stars because it didn't work for me, but overall it works. By the way, I gave customer service 5 stars because it makes you feel important! They are amazing!
