Review on 🚰 Moen 159060 Hose Management System: Simplify Pullout/Pulldown Operation with Hose Guide by Dan Chunn

It works, but can still get addictive

Given the almost limitless number of obstacles under the sink, this won't work for everyone. However, it is quite intelligent and works in many applications. It worked 90% of the time for my application. I have a simple configuration with two sinks and a pull-out faucet from Moen. Initially, my hose caught on the shut-off buttons. I was able to move the hose to a new spot, but once you start pulling on the faucet, the hose can move to a position where it can snag again. I also had a counterweight on or under the release handle. After installing the hose control cone, sticking of the hose was impossible, so everything worked 100%. I found that the counterweight could get stuck under the release handle if the hose was pulled out far enough. The plastic cone is quite thin and allows a heavy weight to get under the release handle. It's not a problem for me as we don't usually pull the hose that far. It also seems like an easy fix, just stiffening the side of the cone closest to the cutoff. Overall, it works pretty well for less than $20.
