Beats with a stick-type brush. Floor.

Wear disposable nitrile or vinyl gloves when using this to clean your chain and it is 100% worth it. Cleaned a chain that the previous owner didn't clean 2000 miles in 15 minutes. wonderful thing. Update 1 year later - just bought a second one for my girlfriend to use on her R6 at her house. Came red instead of black. It still works just as well.
