I have 2 mics and tried this one to see if it was any better than what I currently have. Short answer: It was the worst. My two current mics are a 2019 built-in MacBook Pro, a Logitech C930e webcam. It was the worst of the three in terms of noise cancellation and sound quality. a base level of. Noise canceling is a MUST. So I turned on noise reduction. It definitely reduced the background noise but lowered the quality of my voice recording. The built-in microphone on my 2019 MacBook Pro was actually the best for both background noise cancellation and voice quality. So it looks like I'll stick with what I have.
