Review on Juki MO-735 Serger & Cover Hem Machine with 5-Thread Capability by Anastazja Klementyna ᠌

It's the best purchase I ever made, I will definitely do it again.

Very satisfied with the purchase so far! I dreamed of an overlock for a long time, but I didn’t know for sure whether it would justify the money spent, because I don’t sew that much. And I bought a coverlock (it cost a little more than an average overlock, which I looked after, I took it for 16 thousand 4 years ago). Definitely justifies! It opened up completely new possibilities that were not available with a sewing machine. How much knitwear I scribbled to my little daughter! and at the same time, of course, I saved money))) children quickly grow out of things, and they cost a lot. And so - I bought an inexpensive cooler / interlock and bungled a dozen crawlers or underpants "to describe" - cheap and cheerful))) it's really faster to sew the right overalls or a top for myself than to run around the shops in search of. The machine pleases like on the first day of purchase, I love it madly)))) Of course, you need to figure out the settings at first, and if you sew periodically, you don’t have time to forget what’s what, after downtime - you forget a little)))

Pros
  • I sew different fabrics on it - it turns out well, given that I am not a professional. You can adjust the width of the overlay - from 2mm to . wide)) I often need it (I sometimes sew doll clothes, everything there must be micro-fine and very accurate). The knife turns off quickly - I also use it often. You can reconfigure it for a stitcher - rarely, but I use it. For 4g of use with an average load, I didn’t change anything - neither a needle, nor a knife, I didn’t lubricate anything, I just clean it from lint-dust regularly and no problems.
Cons
  • The garbage collection box constantly disappears, it takes a very long time to reconfigure it for a sewing machine (but this is probably the problem of all carpet locks). I often turn off the knife, and when I return it to its place, it doesn’t get up right away, it seems to be lowered, but it doesn’t cut, some kind of lever probably sticks there.
