Let me start by saying that upon opening the box it appears that one of the handles "bled out" inside the packaging. Everything was crispy and dry so it must have been some time ago. Packaging must be perfectly sealed as ink will not bleed onto other pens. I was a bit disappointed because I use a lot of silver and the set is not cheap. Also: The pens are amazing. Colors are what I love the most. They are all light in color and retain their color when fully dried. Some of the reviews on these and other drawing pens have me a little concerned. I've had several drawing pencils over the years and they are unlike anything else. I've had my fair share of blobs, puddles, and crushed tips, which can be awful when you need to mess up a project or throw away an expensive pen. You cannot use them like other pens and markers. With a little patience, you can avoid the mess and save your investment for a while. The most important thing is the foundation. After shaking the closed marker a few times so you can hear the sounds of the blenders inside, remove the lid while holding the tip up. The tip is dry the first time, but after that the tip sometimes fills up when shaken. If you remove the cap over the garment or point it down, the color can be anywhere. Next you need to fill the pen. It says press the point up and down a few times. I've seen people hit him over and over again. Not. Gently press and hold for a few seconds. See if you can see the color moving to the point. Hold again until a stream appears. Keep a stack of old newspapers nearby and always check the flow before tackling your project. Shake gently from time to time during use. When you're done with that, put the cap on immediately. You cannot use multiple pens at the same time as each one must be filled before use and otherwise sealed. Shouldn't be a problem if you plan a little beforehand. These are excellent quality pens. If I need more and save some money I will definitely choose this brand again.
